Primary Music

At Northside Christian College, we celebrate music as form of creative expression given to us as a gift from God. In the Primary School we offer an energetic and joy-filled 45-minute weekly music program. Classes take place in our fully-equipped music room, where students have numerous opportunities to experience and explore creative expression through various units focused on topics such as dance, ukulele, glockenspiel, percussion and boomwhakers. Students also gain confidence and experience with regular performance opportunities at events such as school assemblies, open days and musical recitals.

Instrumental Programme

All Northside Christian College students have access to our instrumental music programme through our instrumental music coordinator here at the college. All individual lessons are delivered during the school day and these lessons and the associated ensembles are conducted by our expert and highly trained teaching staff.
If you wish to enroll your child in private lessons you can do so by following the link to the enrolment information or simply inquire via the music coordinator or the school office.
We seek to facilitate and allow each child to grow and develop their musical skills in a well-structured and focused way allowing them to develop and share their God given gifts with our world.
