Video Conference Classes

During 2017, Northside Christian College participated in an innovative video conference partnership with other Christian Schools Australia secondary school providers. This provided the College with a chance to provide Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) classes to another rural school in Victoria.

Participation in this video conference partnership has presented the College with an opportunity to break down geographical barriers and allow us to offer enriched educational opportunities for our school community and other Christian schools around Victoria.

This infrastructure and technology also has the potential to provide students at Northside Christian College with an opportunity to access VCE subjects unavailable at the College on a given year. We look forward to the ongoing potential of sharing teaching resources between other Christian schools to best meet the learning needs of our students and students in other rural communities around Victoria.

Video conferencing provides the College with a range opportunities, including:

• Delivering subject-specific curriculum to Christian Schools in regional and rural Victoria
• Accessing experts and specialists into our classroom without leaving the College
• Further developing working relationships with other Christian Schools around Victoria and the world

Northside Christian College students and teachers have valued the chance to connect, interact, share and learn with others outside of their classroom and school through the use of video conference technology.
