Celebrating Our Values

"Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love.” 1 Corinthians 13:13

This semester, the College is recognising students who actively demonstrate the College’s Core Values by presenting some certificates at our fortnightly assemblies. As part of our commitment to maintaining a positive learning environment, teachers are actively looking for students who exhibit acts of Hope, Faith, Love, Community, Service, Grace, Humility, Perseverance, and Integrity. We anticipate that by celebrating authentic expressions of our Core Values, we will create a greater awareness of our shared values within our College community and continue to develop a school culture with shared values.

Our Mission at Northside is to “Transform lives through Christ and the wonder of learning.” Transformation is a process that takes time. These special certificates provide us with an opportunity to celebrate growth and valuable contributions of students in our College community. Our Vision Statement calls upon us “to be an inspirational Christian learning community.” We hope that recognising our students with these special awards, our students will be inspired to flourish as individuals.

The Bible encourages us in Philippians 4:8 to see the good in others.

“Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.”

We congratulate our inaugural recipients of these awards and look forward to recognising many students in the months ahead.
