Short-Term Remote Learning Preparations

The Victorian Government announced a 5-day state-wide lockdown on the 15th July in response to the growing number of COVID cases in Melbourne during two days. 

Mr. Damian Higgins, College Principal, shared a letter with the College community in response to this lockdown announcement. 

The College has prepared an updated Short-Term Remote Learning Guide to support the continuity of learning at this time. 

Friday, 16th July 2021 will be a Curriculum Day at Northside Christian College. This will provide staff with an opportunity to plan and prepare for facilitating remote learning next week. 

Please note: Unit 4 students are advised to check Schoology as some additional learning tasks may be published. 

We continue to remind ourselves of God's steadfast love for us. 

“We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on you.” (Chronicles 20:12)

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28)

“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?…No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.” (Romans 8:35, 37)

“But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.” (2 Corinthians 12:10)

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” (Isaiah 41:10)

“Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” (1 Peter 5:7)

“Neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 8:39)

These verses are a constant reminder to turn to God during all circumstances.

I pray that our community can continue to find comfort and peace at this time through trusting in the Lord. Please be encouraged to know that our staff are praying for our students, families, and community.
